We have been accepted for a Home Mortgage refinance but have been informed that we have to wait one year between refinances. Our last refinance was in March 2010 and intend to change to a VA Home Mortgage asap.

Is there actually a Texas law as this?

Would the rules be the same if the mortgage lender were in another state than Texas?
