Hi,
Can I refinance a second home that we plan on moving back into after retirement while rented? I am in the military and when I retire I plan on moving back to my house in Texas which I am currently renting out. Can I refinance it as a second home or does it have to be a rental home?
John.

It should be your principal residence to be able to do a cash out refinance in Texas. Are you looking for Cash-out refinnace?

If you are renting it out it is an investment home. When you move back in that will change.
