My husband and I are both disabled veterans and we would like to add our adult son to our deed. Would a quitclaim deed work for us....We have a mortgage on the home in both our names....But our son is not on the mortgage and we do not need for him to be added to it....Only the deed.....What would be the steps....We live in Texas...

Hi jeanniealogy!

Welcome to forums!

You can use a quit claim deed in order to add your son to the property deed. You can contact an attorney and he will help you in drafting the deed.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
