Welcome Qopanel.

The sheet is protected - it means that you can access the areas/cells which are shaded grey. The other cells are password protected, the password is given by the MortgageFit Community.

There's no fee as such.

I have used this tool and that's why could easily tell you. It's really user-friendly and a useful one.

Thanks.

Qopanel,

I was having the same problem too. I finally realized you have to be using ms excel 2003 or ms office 2003. I was using excel 2000 and I couldn't figure it out until I used my school's computer. I just bought ms office 2003 and now it works on my personal computer.

Thanks to the makers of this spreadsheet. I haven't started using it yet, but it looks like something I have always been wanting. Every other program is bi-weekly or monthly data. For a student with a $7/hr job, my income changes every other week; in other words I needed a program to see my daily spending.

Thanks.

Thanks.

What a fantastic software (Personal Budget Tool excel file) you have cleverly created. I find it really practical for personal use, and I have recently downloaded a copy of it for personal use. It works well except I cannot modify the cell name to suit my personal details. I realised that there is a password to modify this READ ONLY file.

Thanks,

Excellent Tool. Easy to use and easy to understand. The only thing I would add to it is a tab with liabilities connected to the personal debt section. That way you can program a debt management and reduction to your budget. That would be sweet. I appreciate your efforts.

Just joined the forum and downloaded the software. This is a great basic budgeting tool and very easy to use. Daily spending habits are very important when creating a budget and you have done a great job with that. Thanks for the download.

Welcome Dcrum.

I too felt comfortable using this budgeting tool and it's such a helpful one. In these days of credit crunch one has to be extremely careful with the day to day expenses and with the help of this tool, I'm able to maintain a record of all my exepnses and also check that it doesn't exceed my budget.

I have even recommended this tool to my friends and some of them have even tried out and are quite comfortable with it.

Thanks.
