If a Trust has been recorded and there is a change in the trust after several years. Does the revised Trust also need to be recorded? My dad remarried and his wife hints to him about his trust. Should I get a "Property Guarantee Policy" since I own 50% of the property and still paying for my 50%? Does the Property Guarantee Policy need to be recorded?

Great question. My best advise is to seek the council of an estate planning/trust attorney for the best answer. You should be able to get some free advise from them. You might consider speaking with the attorney who wrote the trust.

Hi Guest.

Welcome to the forum.

I think you should record if there is any change in the trust. I am not aware of Property Guarantee Policy but if you find anything of that sort then you can get it. It will assure you that your share of the property is protected.

BTW have you consulted with any real estate attorney yet?

Best of luck,
Larry
