Mortgage lenders in the United States of America do not accept foreign currency for mortgage payment on U.S. property. So if you wish to use foreign currency for paying off your mortgage, then you will have to approach the local bank and convert your currency to US dollars.

It is always cheaper to take a mortgage loan in the currency of the country where the property is located. It is even less costly if you are paid in that country or receive rental income there.
