My home is going to foreclose. I have a few questions and can really use some legal advice. My home goes for sale March 15. I read online about Cash for keys and I asked them and they said no. Can we take our appliances? (Fridge, dishwasher, dryer, etc…) If we take them what will happen? Will they come after us for the money they did not make during the auction?
Thank you
We do not have a second mortgage and are home is through Bank of America, also we live in Virginia
One last questions, they said we have a non judicial foreclose. Is this a good thing? What does it mean?

Hi mommy2allie!

Welcome to forums!

You can take the appliances from your property. It won't be a problem if you take your own appliances from your property. After a foreclosure, the lender can come after you for the deficient balance resulting from the sale of the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
