Hi deansl,
It will not be possible to finance a 1973 mobile home. No lender would want to finance such an old mobile home. As per the Federal National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, the mobile homes have to comply with a certain set of standards in order to qualify for a loan. The homes built before 1974 do not comply with those standards. This is why most lenders do not offer loans on such old mobile homes. |

As far as i know, There are no any lender wants to finance in old houses since 1973. And other given information by Jenkin is true & acceptable.
