Our offer on a 2005 manufactured home was accepted. My husband has secured a job and a letter from his future employer (where he'll start work as soon as we move to WA). However, the bank is asking us for paystubs? I was told this was necessary because the bank went through fannie mae. Are there any other lenders in WA that does not go through fannie mae and if so, who are they?

Hi

As far as I know most of the lenders would want you to produce your paystubs before approving your loan. They require your paystubs as a proof of your income. Most of them require you to give them at least last 2-3 months paystubs.

You can, however, go for a no-obligation free mortgage consultation with the lenders in this community and see if they can offer you a loan without the paystubs. They would be able to suggest you what type of mortgage you may qualify for without the paystubs.
