Accidentally deleted answer to question regarding quit claim deed from son to mother, where I questioned whether my son who now lives out of state and wants to transfer his WA property to me. There is no money exchanging hands and the property is free and clear (no mortgage or liens of any kind). He is making this a gift to me. Is a quit claim deed all that would be required to submit a transfer to WA state?

Hi jams55!

Yes, you and your son can sign a quitclaim deed and the property will be transferred in your name.
