hello george, i owe money to c

hello george, i owe money to cc companies and they are suing me, most probably they will get judgements, i live in california, but at one time had a house in NY, my name was taken off the deed and it is not on title right now (but there is a mortgage on it on my name) my name has not been on the deed for over a year, and the card company sued me 3 months ago...can they put a lien on the NY property??? it does not have my name on title...in another state...etc...thanks very much

Hi Guest, As your name is not mentioned on the property deed of the NY home, the credit card company cannot place a lien on that property. Thanks
