Hello, I contacted Bank of America after I lost my job at Fannie Mae requesting a loan modification..My mortgage was not late.. I never received a call back from Bank of America, but within two months I received a letter stating my home was sold at an Auction..(WHAT)!.. I called Bank of America and they told me, my mortgage was 120 days late.. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.. I asked BofA for a fax number to submit my bank statements.. I called the next day and they told me there was nothing they could do, but I will need to contact Freddie Mac, they own my home..

I submitted a letter to the Treasury Department abput this and within a few days, Chad, from Bank of America's COO Office called to advise me that he was told to reach out to me and tht he assigned my case to a negotiator.. I spoke with the negotiator and she advised me that there was nothing they could do! UNBELIEVABLE!!.. THEY MADE THE MISTAKE!

I contacted Freddie Mac and they told me to contact their attorney and he advised me that Freddie Mac had requested to proceed with the eviction process.. I can't afford an attorney, but I am taking my issue to the local media... I need to know how long does the eviction process take in Maryland?
You need to get your local government, congressmen, and any official you can to bring this to light. Bank of America has forged paperwork and lied to thousands of homeowners. They have hundreds of wrongful foreclosures in lawsuits right now. Contact the Department of Real Estate and file a complaint and get direction on how to proceed a case with the real estate commissioner for illegal foreclosure. You by law, have to be informed of the foreclosure proceedings. First the notice of default, after 90 days of delienquencies, and then they can file the notice of trustee sale, post in the news for 21 days, then they can sell the house. Once the new owner "bank" takes possession and you do not move, they will contact you and tell you they are the new owner and to leave the residence. If you dont, they have to file the Unlawful Detainer, Eviction, to remove you. Once the sherrif has been informed, they will post that you have 3-5 days to leave the residence. Maryland could vary, so please contact a local attorney or even a title company who can tell you the rights you have in your state.
