Will I be effected by my ex filing for bankruptcy?

Will I be effected by my ex filing for bankruptcy? Originally my ex boyfriend (never married) and I purchased a home together. When we broke up I left and signed a quick claim deed but left my name on the mortgage because he will not qualify without me. Since, he has made every payment on time. Now he is filing for bankruptcy (not sure which kind) but he insists that neither my credit nor the house will be affected. I do not know what to do...
Only co-signed accounts that are included in the bankruptcy should be affected - so if the mortgage is not included in the bankruptcy, and that is the only account you co-signed on, then there should not be any bankruptcy notations on your credit report. Ask him if the bankruptcy includes the mortgage, if it does, then the mortgage on your credit report will have bankruptcy notations on it. Since he has made all the mortgage payments on time, and if he's continuing to do so, then it's likely the mortgage is not included in the BK.
