I filed chapter 13 and asked to have my 2nd mortgage stripped, both my loans are with the same bank and I am on a 3 month trial period on my 1st mortgage, will I be affected by removing the 2nd mortgage?

your second mortgage will be stripped off if you do not have any equity to satisfy the loan. i don't think stripping off your second mortgage would have any negative affect on the loan modification of your first loan.
