the house is not in my name, if i file for vhap 13, can i save the house.. i live in the house and pay the bills.
Hi seven!

Welcome to forums!

As the property is not in your name, you won't have to list the property as your asset. You can include the mortgage in your bankruptcy filing which will help you in getting a payment plan from your lender. If you pay according to the plan, you'll be able to save the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

hello seven

For an individual, bankruptcy protection may involve either a cancellation of most debts, along with the selling off of some of their assets, or a structured plan to pay down the debts that are owed.much better seven that you transfer that house in your name for our own sake.you can ask some question bankruptcy attorney.
