i filed ch 7 in 2004 my husband in 2005. i did not sign anything reaffirming. bank of america i guess sold the loan to united guarnty. i have been paying like $25 a month on it and i owe $42,000 but i have 0% interest. i am now trying to refinance and i don't think i owe for that, i need to get more than $10,000 cash out to fix the house up and pay some bills. do you think i owe for this or not in ga?
"i don't think i owe for that" is not a good way to start
contact the lawyer that set up the BK for you and he should give you an idea of what you can owe and what you cannot.
The fact that you are still in your house means that it was likely left out from the BK in some way so you have a place to live
