i reside in tn and recently had a discharged chapter 7 bankruptcy. how long should i wait to apply for a home loan?
Hi lc_scruggs,

You will have to wait for 2 years in order to get a FHA loan after filing Chapter 7. For conventional loans, you need to wait for 4 years after your bankruptcy discharge.

Thanks
