hello… i am currently in a chapter 13. but now i want to get it dismissed and save my car. how soon can i get the chapter 13 bankruptcy filing dismissed? i haven't paid the december, january or february payment as of yet. how long, typically before my case is dismissed by the trustee??
As you haven't made the required payments for December, January or February, there are high chances that your bankruptcy filing will be dismissed within few days. You should contact your bankruptcy attorney and check out the status of your bankruptcy filing. However, though you file Chapter 13, you will be able to save the car if you pay the car loan as per the payment plan given to you.

Your bankruptcy filing should have been dismissed in December itself when you missed the payments. It's surprising that your bankruptcy hasn't been dismissed yet!! Nevertheless, as Niicss has said, there are high chances that the bankruptcy will be dismissed within the next few days.
