I volunteerely surrendered my home back to the lender in 2007. Filed for ch 13 (had to due to 400k medical bills and upside down on mortgage)Now it is 2010 and I am still legally the owner for this property. All papers have been served me by the lender > I check the foreclosure callendar weekley and my case for foreclosure is not scheduled. I have already been to court and all creditors accounts have been dismissed and I am on a payment schedule with the trustee. I am am waiting to get my life back in order but this is really bothering me. Is this amount of time normal???
Hi tedt,

As the property has still not be sold by the lender at a foreclosure auction, it will be considered as your property. You can contact your lender and ask him to speed up the process so that foreclosure is complete and you can get rid of the property. In the meanwhile, you should keep on making the payments to the trustee so that you are discharged of your bankruptcy successfully.

Take care.
