bank lied on mortgage papers

Posted on: 10th Jan, 2011 06:30 am
I bougth a trailer that the bank said was 1985 or newer, come to find out it is a 1974 with no hud tags, with additions. also i tried to sell it,but couldn't do to the fact about the tags. I went to the bank to try to talk to them about this issue, then they turn around and say they should have never given me a loan, but they felt good enough to take 16,000.00 down plus 5yrs worth the payments out of me. In return i had to file bankruptcy. Do i have any recourse do to the fact they lied? If it weren't for them this bankruptcy would never have accured because i would have sold it, to get out from under neath it.
