My friend works for an attorney and they told her if I want to reaffirm my mortgage that it has to be signed within 60 days of our meeting of creditors.
My attorney stated my bankruptcy would be discharged in 90 days and we had until then to submit it. She said we have 90 days to submit one not 60. She also said that even after the discharge you can sign it and it will just be attached to your bankruptcy case.
My bankruptcy ch 7 was discharged within 60 days so can I still submit the reaffirmation for my mortgage?
