two years leaving in my house whitow paying my mortgage. I was denied for a loan mod four times. So i did file chapter 7 in order to get ridd off my debts and see if that was the stick on the weel to be approve for a loan mod. Now my question(I have the first and a HELOC whit two diferents lenders): how, when, and were to reaffirm my house????
2) Doe's it make sense trying to keep that house, 170.000 up side down???
3) Plus 70.000 behind in my first
4) The HELOC is about 47.000 and also no payment sent for the same of time than the first
Thanks

Hi elchegue,
You'll have to reaffirm your mortgage when you're in bankruptcy filing. You should let your lender and bankruptcy trustee know about it and sign the debt reaffirmation agreement. Once you sign the agreement, you'll become liable for the mortgage payments personally. It is solely your discretion whether or not you wish to keep the home. However, in my opinion, as your property is so upside down, it doesn't make any sense to keep the home.
