Hi there… I need to know what I should be doing while I am waiting on a discharge. Can I apply for any credit card? Work on the dispute process?

Unless you have received a discharge, you won't be able to get a credit card. None of the credit card issuers will offer you a credit card so soon. However, after the bankruptcy discharge, you can apply for secured cards.

You should wait until you get a bankruptcy discharge. Once you receive a discharge, then you can start taking steps to improve your credit.
