I have to give 30 days written notice when I leave the property or the lease expires, does that mean move out exactly 30 days before?
As far as I know, you will have to move out of the property exactly 30 days after you serve the notice.

I agree with what Niicss has said. Once you serve the notice, you will have to move out of the property within that given period of time.
