My name is Zelanda Dixon. It's been 3 years since ive been approved for section 8. I have kept my address information updated since and have a two yr. old i would like to add with my other two son's. I have not heard any thing from the housing commission and am not allowed to contact them to check my status (which i think is unfair). I have faced a eviction because i could not afford the house i resigned in. I would like to know is know my status on the waiting list, is there a number that i can call and if possible receive my section 8 now due to my circumstances.

It will be better if you could contact the local Public Housing Agency (PHA) in order to find out the status of your Section 8 application. They will be able to help you better in this regard.
