You can surely take a loan by keeping your mobile home as collateral. However, in order to become eligible for the loan, you should have enough equity in your mobile home and the mobile home must be free and clear of any liens.
Though it is difficult but not impossible to take a mortgage loan against your mobile home. However, for that your mobile home should be in a good shape and it should be built on some permanent foundation.
Your mobile home should be free and clear of any liens. Moreover, it should not be built before 1976.
