My landlord already filed a lawsuit for my late rent payments. Actually I asked for a few days time and I would have paid off. But he didn’t listen. He filed a lawsuit and I have the money to pay off now. What should I do?

Now that the lawsuit has been already filed, there is hardly anything that can be done. You will have to prove your point. You can contact an attorney who can help you fight the case.

You can contact your landlord and can request him to withdraw the case from the court. Try and sort out the matter out of court.
