The lease agreement on my rental property will be over on October, 2013. I will give 30 days notice in October and will be out of the property on 1st Nov. Will I pay the rent for the month of October?

Yes, you will have to pay off the rent for the month of October, 2013 though you give a notice to the landlord.

I agree with what Jerry has said. You will have to pay the rent for the month of October. If you don't do so, that will be illegal.
