My father died in the month of March. When I contacted his bank, it refuses to tell me even the amount in his account how can I find this out? Once he told me it was over 8000. I am his only child. How can I obtain this money?

You should take the help of an estate lawyer in this regard. If there is no will, then you will have to file a petition with your county probate court and get yourself appointed as an administrator of the estate.
