After being evicted from my rental property, I was told that I have 15 days to remove my property. However, 3 days back, the landlord changed the locks and will now allow me to take my belongings. She says that I can take it only after 15 days and she is also charging $50 per day for storage. Can she do so?

She cannot do so. It will be considered as illegal. You should immediately get in touch with an attorney and check out what legal actions you should take in this regard.

I agree with what Sara has said. However, I will also suggest you to negotiate with your landlord in this regard and convince her to let you take away your items.
