What do I need to do?

Posted on: 07th May, 2013 11:41 pm
My roommate and I are staying in a rental property. The landlord did not add my roommate to the lease agreement. Out of compassion, I allowed that person to stay in the property. But recently he did certain things which offended me and I just want to kick him out of the property. What do I need to do?
Hi Martha,

You have mentioned that your present roommate is not on the agreement. In such a situation, you can ask your roommate to move out of the property immediately. He has no legal rights to stay in the property.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi M Martha!

Welcome to the fourms!

I agree with Jerry. You can give your roommate a legal notice and ask him to leave the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
