I applied for Section 8 housing voucher in my state and they said that it would take about 2 and 1/2 years. I was wondering if anyone got it sooner than what they told you it would take or did it take longer?
Well, it does take quite some time to get your Section 8 request accepted. This is mainly because there are quite a large number of people in the line. If you're lucky enough, then your number will come soon.
