How can i get the status on my section 8 application so that i may move into a home for myself my unborn child and mother

Today is sippose to be the last day for applications to go in and I mail my money order off but never received an application or phone call

You need to contact PHA (Public Housing Authority) of your area directly and get to know about your application.

What happens when you've been an applicant since 1997 and you've only received a letter stating: We are updating the system, please send a reply stating you are still interested in getting Section 8. However, you receive nothing further?

In my opinion, it would be better if you could go ahead and contact the Public Housing Authority and check out what you need to do. They would be the best person to let you know what steps you need to take in this regard.
