Use credit card??

Posted on: 12th Mar, 2013 12:36 am
Hi there… If I didn't pay my credit card bill on time can I still use the credit card?
There are high chances that you may face difficulty in using a credit card which has not been paid off. It will be better if you could at least pay off the minimum amount on your credit cards.

Generally if you are late on the payment, and you have available credit, you would be able to use it, but you will incur more interest and fees. Some creditors will not allow any additional credit if you are past due, so contact them and make a payment arrangement.

If you haven't paid your credit card bill on time but you still have available credit left, you will still be able to use your card, but you will be charged higher interest rates and penalty fees. On the other hand, if you haven't paid your bill and you maxed out your card already, chances are high that creditors will temporarily freeze your card until you pay the balance off completely. Make sure that you order your credit report regularly so that you are aware of your credit card transactions and when your payments are due.
