Geneva Roth Capital Inc. which is also known as Loan Point USA ("http://www.loanpointusa.com/" ) is a payday loan company that carries out its own collections. Based at Utah, the company is reported to be a loan shark by several consumers who have shared their experience with the company in our forums.

There have been several complaints so far from customers regarding illegal activities of Geneva Roth. Here's why debtors feel that Geneva Roth is a loan shark:
  • The company often over charges its customers and withdraws money from their accounts repeatedly even after the loan payment is over.
  • The company also keeps changing its contact information due to which customers make repeated calls but fail to get any response from Geneva Roth.
  • Geneva Roth somehow gets access to bank accounts not related to the loan and debits money from such accounts.
  • Even if consumers do not apply for Geneva Roth loans, the company somehow gets access to their accounts and forcefully deposit loan funds without even sending any paper agreement to the debtor.
If you are in problem while dealing with the company or if you need to make an enquiry on your payment, loan balance etc, talk to a customer representative at the Geneva Roth toll free number.

In case you don't get any response from the company, or if they continue with their illegal activities, file a complaint with the FTC, BBB or your State attorney General. And if you'd like to share your experience with Geneva Roth - good or bad, feel free to post it below.

I need to contact geneva roth about a payday loan I need a phone number.
Hi Ktmnt,

There is a thread (http://www.mortgagefit.com/discuss/rioresource.html ) in our forums from where you will get the detailed address of Geneva Roth along with the people experiences.

I personally suggest you to not go for payday loan. Try to find out any other alternative option if possible to get the loan.

And taking payday loan from this concern may not be too good choice. People called Geneva Roth Ventures as Loan Shark Company. Many of our community members have some bad experience with him.

Thanks

Geneva Roth just automatically debited $650.00 from my checking account because they said they are members of the National Banking whatever and any account with my name and social on it, they have access to. I am in the process now of trying to get my money back. They did two different transactions on the same day. The guy I spoke with said they are pre-legal whatever for payday loan companies. Help me on this one?

You should put your complaint with FTC, BBB and the Attorney General's Office regarding the money taken out of your account. Also dispute the debit made from your account with bank.

Hi lah,

Seems strange enough! How can the Geneva Roth people debit cash from your account this way? Not sure whether they are member of National Banking.

I have even heard people saying that GR is a loan shark company; you need to find this out. Just approach the local office of the Better Business Bureau and enquire about them. The people there will be able to tell you if Geneva Roth a member of National Banking.

Thanks,
James

Elton,

If you are looking for the amount from Geneva Roth then I would say it won't be a wise idea.

They don't have a very good reputation.

I think you should get in touch with your bank about the amount you need.

Hi Elton,

I think you are looking for a loan of $2000 to pay off bills. You can go for any secured or unsecured loans but do avoid payday loans. With such loans, you will only end up paying more and more.

Thanks

I had an account with Geneva Roth two years ago. I fell on hard times and still have a balance on it. I have recently opened a new banking account and found that they withdrew money out of it this morning. when I asked how they got this account information they said that they are a member of the National Banking something or other and have access to any banking account that I have and can go in it at anytime to withdraw money I offered to pay the 300.00 I owe but they are only accepting $1100. Is this legal can they force me to pay all these extra fees and access any account I have at any time to get the money. This new account I have was not the account I had when I had the loan. HELP ME

You should inquire with your bank about the access this company was provided to withdraw money from your account. Also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and your state's Attorney General.
