I contacted United Mortgage Aid about helping me get my existing mortgage from American HoMe Mortg. Servic, inc. modified. In their agreement they state, if they don't get it modified they will refund your money minus the cost incurred.

you need to contact your state's attorney general immediately.

alvidk you say "don't do anything." i disagree vehemently with that - our poster needs to be in contact with the attorney general's office immediately to report this heinous act by that company. i don't think you meant anything negative in your comment, of course, but it could be taken wrong.
