Wells Fargo denied modification with a lie

Posted on: 11th Dec, 2009 10:01 am
After Wells Fargo lost our paperwork a couple times, and it was refaxed then resubmitted with updated figures over the course of 5 months they sent a letter indicating they denied us because we had not kept in contact with them. Hmmmm, we faxed stuff they lost 3 times AND I kept the confirmations. There were phone calls, I updated the info once over the phone because "they couldn't find it". Then they send a letter saying we have not kept in contact with them and that was the reason for denial. When I called and protested the reason because I had just been in contact that week with the update, the person answering said, "Oh, you got the wrong letter". Well, my guess is that letter and many like it are being sent out and a copy sent to the big boys showing Wells Fargo's GOOD FAITH hahahahahaha in trying to modify peoples loans with those million and millions they received in aid. I think folks are getting duped, getting "wrong" letters but giving the "wrong" idea to the big boys in the big white house.
I can understand that it is very frustrating to know that the loan modification has been denied and that too for no reason. I would suggest you to apply for a modification once again to check out if they can help you in any way.

i don't suppose reapplying would hurt other than the pain of the process itself.
