Closed in January 2010 Score dropped 85 points

I closed on my new home January 5 2010. My credit score was 773. It is now 705.

Immediately after closing ALL my credit cards took my limit to the current balance I owed on the card. ALL of them. Why? So I have no late payments AT ALL on any account and my score is headed downward because I have no credit available on any credit cards. This was not expected. Anyone else have this problem?

Oh, 3 of my credit cards CLOSED my account right after I closed on my new home. All 3 cards had a ZERO balance with perfect payment history. I did use them but would pay them off every month.

Welcome Stacy,

I could not understand why your credit card company closed your accounts after you purchased a property. It shouldn't be the case. I would suggest you to contact your credit card company and request them to explain the reason for taking such an action.
