I disputed the negative items on my credit reports. Quite a few of them have been deleted outright. I sent the DVRs to all those negative items which were not deleted. However, my problem is that the DVR's were not sent within 30 days of my receiving a Dunning letter-many of these items are years old so the DVR's aren't going to do much good if any - so, where to go from here ?
Hi Paynin,
I will suggest you to wait for some time. The debt validation letters may have a positive impact. If the CA is unable to validate the debt, then you won't be liable to pay it off.
Thanks

Welcome Paynin,
Yes, you should give it some time and maintain patience. These things take quite sometime to get resolved. In case, they aren't able to validate the debt, you can send them a cease and desist letter and ask them to stop contacting you any further. You can even request the credit bureau to update the status accordingly.
