I took a look at my Experian credit report today and to my surprise noticed a soft pull mentioned on it from ER solutions. Why did they soft pull me??? I don't have any outstanding bills that I am not paying. I'm very worried because I've worked very hard to get my credit back on track. Should I contact them tomorrow to find out what reason they have to pull my credit history?
Hi Serena,
You should contact the credit bureau and try to get rid of this soft full. You should explain your situation and ask them to remove it from your credit report.
Thanks,
Jerry

A soft pull does not affect credit scores.
If you care why they did the soft pull, by all means call and ask them. No one else can tell you why they did it.
Personally, if it was me, I could not care less.

Company's that do soft pulls are considering offering you credit. It doesn't impact your FICO scores negatively, so you shouldn't worry about it.
