I am in the process of cleaning up my credit report and I just received back from Equifax that A Discover Card Account was verified to be mine. I was an authorized user on the account. I had another card I was an authorized user and they removed that one. Has anyone had any luck getting Discover accounts removed?

If you're only an authorized user, then Discover should not have any verified the debt as you were not a joint account holder with the other person. You should contact Discover and try to sort out the matter with them. You should negotiate with them in this regard.

I agree. It should be noted here that an authorized user of a credit card has the right to use the card but has no obligation to pay it. So, the debt can't be verified in your name.
