So I have a charge off on TU. It has been reporting since 2011 for a few thousand. It was sold to a JDB. I've tried disputing by writing a letter as not mine. I tried re-disputing it with a MOV. Twice came back but they didn't respond. Any other suggestions or ideas? I'm trying the BBB now...
If the CA hasn't replied to your debt validation request, then you can simply contact the credit bureaus and ask them to remove the item from your credit report.
