Hi liton,

I don't think such working capital assessment forms are available online. It would be better if you could follow Rivan's (above post) advice and consult a financial adviser.

Thanks

how to calculate working capital requirement
Posted on: 06th May, 2009 12:00 am
Hi somit,

It is very difficult to estimate the working capital needs when starting up a new business or going through a period of growth and expansion. One needs to understand the cycles of business and assign some numbers to them to come up with a realistic estimate of how much working capital you should have on hand. You can check out the following link to know more: "googobits.com/articles/3029-how-to-calculate-working-capital-needs-based-on-business-cycles.html"

Take care.

Working capital calcuations will be based on your current business situation and plans for growth or any slow downs.

You will really need a fincial advisor.

Working capital is a measure of immediate cash on hand (or highly liquid assets) vs immediate liabilities if I recall my accounting studies properly. Intersting to come across these terms in actual use in real life!

normally a business will have raw material stocks, work in progress stocks, finished goods stocks, debtors, prepaid exp, and bank
balance in its total current assets...u've basically got to estimate the amounts for the items based on your past experiences / present market conditions..
