I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been fighting a charge off from Chase that's been posted to my credit reports for about 2-3 years now. It's a credit card charge off. I would love to get a Chase Spphire card and I'm trying to buy a house. The charge off which does not belong to me is making things extremely difficult. My problem is that I don't have any paperwork stating that this debt doesn't belong to me, so I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
You should dispute the debt and try to get it removed from your credit report. You should contact the credit bureau regarding this matter.
