Hi,
I do not have any idea about what a Mortgage Credit Certificate is, some information would be really helpful.

I just bought my home in Sept. of 2008, how do I go about applying for this mortgage credit certificate?

Hi Linda,

You will have to apply for a mortgage credit certificate through your originating lender. You should also note that there is a nonrefundable upfront fee involved in this process. This fee is paid to the authority administering the program. Some brokers may pay the fee on your behalf, but they will expect that you would pay them back.

Thanks,

Jerry

I just received a notification that my MCC tax credit had been revoked per my instructions. I did not give instructions to do that. Can it be reinstated??? I am in Oklahoma!

Thanks!
