I have a friend that is disabled and terminally ill. She owns a condo. She is not a senior citizen. Question - is there a reverse mortage program that would fit her needs?
Hi Aswank,
Welcome to MortgageFit Forums.
I am sorry to hear about your friend. I pray to god to provide him with comfort and wish he gets well soon.
Reverse mortgage programs are meant for people with age 62 and above. If your friend has not attained that age, I am afraid to say to say that she will not be able to qualify for the mortgage.
You may find some home loans offered by Fannie Mae and some other organizations meant for the disabled persons. You may look out for them. I shall also check and get back here as soon as I get any information.
Please get back and check here again.
God bless you.

Hi,
Back again with some more information. I hope this helps.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has several programs for persons with disabilities. You may check the Government pages in your directory for the required contact information.
It's good to see you so much concerned for your friend. Feel free to ask if you require some more information.
We will be happy to help you in the best possible way.
God bless you.

Hi,
Actually it is very diffcult to obtain loan.Reverse Mortage has some eligibility :
1)He must be at least 62 years old.
2)He must own and occupy your home as your primary residence during the term of the loan.
3)Etc
Please find your friend where he has stand.
Actually other private as well as goverement provide loan so try to find out loan .Better way try gather more information from your friend and try get loan from goverement because goverement provide loan on less interest. In market, many agent provide loan so take advoice from him and take suitaible Decision.
I hope this sufficent information for you.
Thanks
Dilip

dilip this original question is 3 years old!
let's be real here.
let's be real here.
This is wonderful entertainment. I am going to have to make some popcorn.
eric i hope you enjoyed your popcorn. i'm having jalapeno & cheddar potato chips right now...fortunately the cheddar takes a back seat and allows the jalapeno to reside on the tongue.
entertainment....you must have quite a life.

I am entertained when I see some incoherent ramblings on this forum. I did go to a comedy club last weekend but our friend dilip was not performing.
i understand thoroughly. you must just sit in front of the screen and laugh uproariously continually.
though, you did mention "ramblings." i have to say there are a lot of incoherent phrases, incoherent words. so i guess if you're entertained only by the ramblings, your laughter must be a little bit more sporadic.
