After the foreclosure if you owe anything to the lender he can claim a deficiency judgment and may put a lien on your other properties.

Hi Missy,

Legally no lender can take away another property owned by the borrower in default due to foreclosure on one property. To know more on this, please refer to a previous discussion on Whether foreclosure on one can affect the other .

I am not sure how something like this works out and you see that you already have two different oppinions already, I would follow the link to the thread and see what the conversation is about. Both answers here seem plausible, but I would think in order for them to put a lein on anything they would have to obtain a judgement, which would mean taking you to court and suing you. Have you talked to the company that plans to foreclose? See what their intentions are? goodluck, hope this all works out to your benefit.
