i lost my home due to forclosure. With all the rules there are know to re-purchase the same home is very difficult. my problem stared last year when i was in and out of works. i have been know with my employeer for 7 months and can afford mortgage payments. is there any way that the company that owns the home right know work out something for my family and I. I do not want to purchase any other house.
Hi pantojaluz,

As your home has been already foreclosed upon, I don't think you have much to do. But I would still suggest you to speak to the company that owns the property now and negotiate with them. Check out with them whether they are ready to work out something with you or not. However, let me tell you, it will be totally the company's discretion whether they will negotiate with you or not.

Thanks

Hi Pantojaluz,

There's the right of redemption which allows you to repurchase the same house. But there's a time limit within which you can do so. And this time limit varies from one state to another. How long has your home been in foreclosure? and in which state is the property located?
