My soon to be ex moved out 3 months ago and has stopped paying her half of the mortgage (house in ct) i am still paying mine. Now the bank has started forclosure process ! can she do this ? what am i to do ?
Yes, she can do this. And if you are not covering her part, then you are out the house as well. Unfortunely there really isn't much you can do unless willing to cover the full mortgage payment. This will affect both hers and your credit since you have lates on your mortgages.
