Who can do I deed my former marital home to? I filed bankruptcy on the home and that was discharged in 2009. My ex-husband then defaulted on the mortgage and the home underwent foreclosure. Both my name and ex's are still on the deed, now i can't get approved for a new mortgage. [/b]
hello amyp,

the agreement lays out all of the terms and conditions of the deed in lieu of foreclosure, and must be signed by both the borrower and the lender. the deed conveys legal ownership of the property to the lender

Hi AmyP!

Welcome to forums!

You can take the permission of your bankruptcy lawyer and then transfer your share of the property to your ex. This will make him the sole owner of the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
